# Get testnet HYPE

Get testnet HYPE to try Navo on Elysium Testnet.

Navo on Elysium Testnet uses **testnet HYPE**. You need it to pay gas and to trade. Testnet HYPE has no monetary value. You cannot sell it or move it to mainnet.

There are two ways to get testnet HYPE. The Elysium faucet is the shorter one.

## Option 1: the Elysium faucet

1. Open the official Elysium faucet: [testnet.elysium.kinetiq.xyz/faucet](https://testnet.elysium.kinetiq.xyz/faucet).
2. Click **Connect** and connect the wallet that you use on Navo.
3. If your wallet does not have Elysium Testnet yet, click **Add Elysium Testnet to wallet**.
4. Follow the steps on the faucet page to receive testnet HYPE.

The faucet page shows how much it sends and when you can ask again.

## Option 2: bridge from HyperEVM Testnet

Elysium settles to HyperEVM. HYPE moves from HyperEVM Testnet to Elysium Testnet 1:1 and arrives as gas.

1. Get testnet HYPE on HyperEVM Testnet from [Quicknode's faucet](https://faucet.quicknode.com/hyperliquid/testnet).
2. Open the official Elysium bridge: [testnet.elysium.kinetiq.xyz/bridge](https://testnet.elysium.kinetiq.xyz/bridge).
3. Bridge the HYPE to Elysium Testnet.

## Network details

If you add the network to your wallet by hand, use these values.

| Setting        | Value                                                              |

A faucet never needs your seed phrase or private key, and it never asks you to send funds first. Use only the links on this page or in the Elysium docs.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://navofamily.gitbook.io/navo-docs/help/testnet-hype.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
